LIFT KITS AND LEVELING KITS

Lift Kits vs. Leveling Kits
What’s the Difference?

At Tarrant County Lift Co., one of the most common questions we get is:

“Should I go with a lift kit or a leveling kit?”

We’ve got the breakdown for you right here, so you can make the right choice based on your vehicle, your personality, and your budget.

What’s a Leveling Kit?

Most trucks come from the factory with a slight forward rake — the front end sits lower than the rear. A leveling kit is designed to raise the front of the truck only, usually by 1 to 2.5 inches, to make the stance more even.

Benefits:

  • Corrects the factory rake for a leveled look

  • Fits slightly larger front tires

  • Simple and affordable upgrade

  • Maintains your factory ride quality

A leveling kit is perfect if you want a clean stance and just a little extra clearance without going all-in on a lift.

What’s a Lift Kit?

A lift kit raises both the front and rear of your vehicle — starting at around 2.5 inches and up — giving you a noticeable increase in ground clearance, room for much bigger tires, and a whole new look.

Benefits:

  • Raises the entire vehicle for more aggressive ground clearance

  • Fits much larger tires

  • Great for off-road performance and styling

  • Transforms your truck’s stance and presence

Lift kits are ideal for customers who want serious height, performance, and visual impact.

So, Which One Is Best?

There’s no “best” lift or leveling kit — only what’s best for you.
At Tarrant County Lift Co., every build is tailored to your specific vehicle, your personality, and your budget.

Some of our customers just want to clean up the stance and run slightly bigger wheels, while others want to go all-out with a full suspension lift that turns heads on and off the road.
